Sun Burst
Taken in Genette's backyard in Sequim Washington. I don't know what these are. Linda-any help? Linda is my good buddy that lives in Sequim and she knows plants.

Leave it to Nancy H! There was a letter waiting for me when I returned from NY yesterday. Inside was a picture of THE flower with a note, "It took me awhile but I finally found it!" I had forgotten that I had emailed her to ask if she knew what it was. The botanical name: Fanfare Gaillardia, a sun pernnial (planta perenne que da sol") which blooms summer - fall. Full sun, semin-moist, grows 15-18 inches high and as wide.
Leave it to Nancy H! When I returned home from NY yesterday, there was an envelope containing a picture and info on the flower. A note from her said, "It took me ahile but I finally found it!" I had forgotten I'd emailed to ask if she knew what it was...months ago. It is a Sun Perennial called Fanfare Gaillardia. You should be able to grow them in your area.
