Iceberg roses next to the new fountain. Iceberg roses are the easiest for me to grow. This particular rose bush was my Mom's.

I did get to France--and Italy, Greece and Constantinople. It was amazing how quickly I caught onto French staying with Michel in Angers who speaks no English and traveling through Europe where the NYTimes was 10 Euro and Le Monde was cheap! Auf Deutsch: Die Not bringt alles mit.
